Lack of proper nutrition is often the underlying cause of many discomforts, symptoms and dis-ease. However, you could be eating the cleanest, most “healthiest” diet and still be miserable. Why? Because have you ever considered if you are actually digesting and breaking down what you are ingesting? And therefore, absorbing both the macronutrients and miconutrients from your food?

If you find yourself craving fatty foods, you might not be getting enough fats in your diet or you may not be breaking them down properly. Suffering from anxiety? You may have an issue with inflammation in your gut. Have shoulder pain? Your gallbladder may not be functioning optimally.

What’s included in your initial assessment:

  • 1:1 Interview via Zoom to discuss your health and symptoms

  • Online survey to review and evaluate symptoms

  • 24-hour Urinalysis, including all materials mailed to you {labs don’t lie!}

  • 1:1 Follow Up to discuss findings and make recommendations

Then, we’ll continue to evaluate each month. Follow up sessions are $59 for 30 minutes.

The consultations are a blend of yoga therapy, digestive health support, wellness coaching and intuition. Ultimately, we are looking to the wisdom of your body to tell us what you truly need to heal.

Each session is completely tailored to you for the best results.

What is Yoga Therapy?

Although all yoga is potentially therapeutic and healing, yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools - postures/exercises, breathwork, meditation techniques, and more - to address an individual's physical, mental, and emotional needs. Many people first learn about yoga through its physical practices, but a common misconception is that the discipline is all about stretching or movement. In fact, yoga therapy can help people who can't move at all, as well as active individuals!

The yogic model of health is unique because it addresses every aspect of life rather than considering each body part of system separately.

Yoga therapy is a safe way of working with the natural capacity of your body and mind to optimize well-being. This approach can help with a range of concerns:

Pain, including low-back pain, arthritis, PMS, and other types of chronic pain such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome
Neurologic issues and complications of stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, and traumatic brain injury (TBI)
Mental health, including concerns like anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, insomnia, and others
Major illness like diabetes, cancer, and heart disease
Healthy aging, including osteoporosis and fall prevention

Yoga therapy can also support people who are dealing with stress, and those who simply want to increase their well-being and overall health.
